Board of Commissioners ~ Commissioner Jim Steffes
Text Box: Jim Steffes is a Certified Public Accountant with over 20 years experience in the public sector and currently is part owner of a local accounting firm. Jim’s professional experience is primarily in the area of audit with a concentration in the non-profit and construction industries. He has been active on many local boards and committees including AAA Woman's Services, Spirit of Elijah Ministries, Association of Government Accountants and Hiawatha Estates Homeowners Association. Jim also coaches Little League baseball, High School Cross Country and Track. Jim graduated from California State University, Long Beach, with BS degrees in accounting and management. He and his wife, Kathi, live in Ooltewah and have five children.
