Text Box: Step One: The first step in the PH Homeownership Program is a Family’s Interest in becoming a Homeowner. Step Two: During the Family Orientation: Complete FSS Paperwork Needs & Resources Identified Homeownership Plan Developed Step Three: A Family Contract is agreed upon and signed by the Family & FSS Coordinator The Contract is then Fulfilled through a Career Path. The Career Path for fulfilling the contract involves: Financial Goals, Credit Counseling, 4-6 wks of Homeownership Trainings Classes, Pre-Qualified and Moving into Homeownership Step Four: Homeownership Participation – Questionnaire Signed Homeownership Plan Sample Path to Homeownership Step Five: Preparing Family for Pre-Qualification: Salary Range-$14,000-and up, Credit Status-525-and up, Looking for homes in their price range, and Working with the Mortgage Company Step Six: Purchase of Home For more information call: Tammy Parker, Public Housing Homeownership Coordinator 423-752-4473
